Mesa Boogie 2x12 Rectifier Horizontal Cabinet - Black Bronco / Black Grille

Prepare for battle—because the Mesa Boogie 2x12 Rectifier® Horizontal Cabinet isn’t just a speaker cab, it’s a sonic battleship built to shake the cosmos. Forged from the same DNA as its larger sibling, this legendary enclosure mirrors the dimensions of the lower half of a Rectifier® 4x12—delivering massive, universe-filling tone from a surprisingly compact form. The sealed design launches waves of low-end thunder, tight and controlled, while projecting with the kind of authority that feels like it’s bending space itself. Loaded with the iconic voice of Celestion Vintage 30s, this cab channels a perfect storm of midrange punch, aggressive bite, and warm, articulate highs. Whether you’re exploring crushing high-gain galaxies, alternative soundscapes, or dialing in pristine clean constellations, the Recto® 2x12 adapts effortlessly—proving it’s far more than its reputation. And when the gig demands the presence of a 4x12—but your ship can’t carry the cargo—this cabinet steps in with a sound so massive, you’ll swear there’s a full stack lurking behind you. Built to survive the harshest conditions in the tonal universe, every Mesa® enclosure is constructed from void-free, marine-grade Baltic birch—engineered for maximum resonance, durability, and structural integrity. Precision-crafted rabbet joints are glued and nailed for unyielding strength, while braced baffles with dado joint construction ensure optimal speaker performance. Even the grille is mission-ready—wrapped on a separate board and made from specially coated twisted jute to smooth harsh frequencies and deliver a sweeter, more balanced top end. This isn’t just one of the best sounding cabinets in the universe—it’s a legend among stars.
