Gates Premium Modular Coolant Hose, 23385

Modular coolant hoses are on many of today's vehicles and are much more complex than the standard molded hoses of the past. Modular coolant hoses are hose assemblies with one or more components built into the hose. Some examples of these components include hose branches, quick connectors, valves, sensors, bleeders and flow restrictors. Manufactured identical or equivalent to the OE hose, modular coolant hoses will keep your vehicle's cooling system running properly and efficiently for years to come. Product Features: Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum Designed to resist electrochemical degradation, the main cause of casing failure EPDM tube; synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover Manufactured with hose components conforming to OEM standards (quick couplings, branch fittings, sensors, etc.) Meets SAE 20R3 EC Class D1 for diameters below 25 mm (1 inch), SAE 20R4 EC Class D1 for diameters of 25 mm (1 inch) and larger Temperature range: -40 Deg. F to +257 Deg. F (-40 Deg. C to +125 Deg. C) Note: Gates recommends replacing clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed Caution: Do not use for fuel or oil transport applications.
