The Interstellar Tone Traveler's second Dealer Limited Serus J is that guitar. Where the Surf Green version opens up like a clear coastal morning, this one wears Bull Black over a 1964 3-Tone Sunburst, and the effect is something genuinely striking — the warm amber and red of the sunburst bleeds through the black in a way that's less finish and more phenomenon, like watching light escape the edge of something that should hold it completely. Applied in nitro with medium aging and a matching black headstock, this guitar looks like it has a history and a point of view before you ever play a note.
